Asus Eee PC with optical drive 1004DN: At first recall that the idea of developing an ultraportable was to sacrifice some things for the team could be as small as possible, now the same as those popularized the idea with the series have developed a portable EeePc of that series that is characterized by its size and having no CD drive or DVD, until now.

This is the Asus Eee PC1004DN that now comes with a Super-Multi optical drive, to facilitate backups and operating system installations, but most of all to harness the media, so it comes with the Super Hybrid Engine (SHE) which lengthens the battery from the notebook when on the move, ie when not connected to maintain an outlet.
It also contains a security system called Asus Data Security System (ADSM) allowing the advanced fingerprint recognition, and can encrypt a single folder with the same security system.

We know many more concrete details like price or availability but we're awaiting more details.
