MBW-100 Sony Ericsson Bluetooth Watch Review

MBW-100 Sony Ericsson Bluetooth Watch Review: The concept of making watches with added features beyond telling time or set alarms, have always failed commercially. The last attempt of this kind is the MBW-100 mobile phone maker Sony Ericson has taken together with Fossil, which PC Magazine has written a paper with a review.

The idea is that instead of creating a watch-PDA to do it all, has designed a very aesthetic model with a discrete display that shows information received from a terminal via Bluetooth, as SMS or incoming call identification. Of note is the sophisticated and beautiful design of the clock that has a style "James Bond", which makes clear that above all is a dress watch. But not all good words, the MBW-100 is too expensive, is worth more than $ 300.

Only compatible with Sony Ericsson terminals (this is surely a major disadvantage). And it seems that even still too cumbersome. However, the MBW-100 is a step in the flow of integrating advanced functionality into everyday devices without sacrificing their aesthetic design. Hopefully future versions of this manufacturer or other survives to reach closer to our heart and pocket.
